Those who attended our most recent concert, The Power of Music: Voice to the Voiceless, in January know how timely and fulfilling that theme was in this time of change and uncertainty. The next concert, The Power of Music: Revolution and Revelation, is the final concert in the Power of Music series. Artistic director, Gayle Wieand, has once again connected diverse musical styles through a common theme of individual change and change in the world. From the Estonian "Singing Revolution" selections and other Baltic Republic pieces to the resurrection theme of Mahler's 2nd Symphony to modern songs about personal transformation, this is a concert for lifting spirits and re-charging.
We look forward to seeing you there. If you are attending the Saturday evening performance please come downstairs to the reception after the concert so that we can greet you.
